oil on canvas paper, 12" x 12"

This started as an experiment (don't they all?) in abstraction that took on a life of its own.  So, there you go.

A Walk in the Park

acrylic on canvas, 24" x 24"

This is an abstraction of a scene from memory, where the city buildings (New York) in the summer had this light mauve aspect that contrasted nicely with the neon green grass and foliage of the trees.

City Scene

acrylic on canvas, 10" x 10"

This was an exercise in neutrals that didn't turn out as expected.  Because acrylics lean toward the center values when they dry, it's hard to get the subtle value shifts accurate.  I still like the effect, though, and might try a larger version of this one.

acrylic on canvasboard, 8" x 16"
