Giuseppe

oil on linen, 14" x 11"

This is a portrait of Giuseppe, the male model from Jacob Dhein's figure painting workshop in Italy.  He was a great sitter, and an interesting person.

oil on panel, 14" x 11"

This is a study I did in Italy at the end of August.  There were 18 of us participating in a figure painting workshop led by Jacob Dhein.  They used the lottery method of assigning positions and I ended up with full frontal.  She had beautiful long wavy hair, but it was up when I sketched her in.  It was a great workshop.
