Got side-tracked with another flower portrait, a white anemone growing in a garden. I'm having fun with this, so there may be more to come. Now, where was I?
This was done from a photo I took one day in Central Park last October. I was mesmerized by the scene of these tall, graceful mauve trees set against all that green, with a pale yellow ball of light in the distance.
This is a plein air sketch I did last summer that I'm posting to remind myself there is life beyond the digital format. I've become addicted to painting on my iPad, simply because it is so fast and there is no cleanup involved or toxic fumes to inhale.
